Define how much movement matters to your chart. Adjust the averaging period and Fine Adjust setting, then use Min Change Ticks to set the movement required for a directional trend state.

Trend states describe the indicator’s conditions; they do not guarantee the next price move.

Add up to three upper and lower band levels around the average. Choose standard-deviation bands or fixed tick offsets to put price distance in context.
